FSCU’s mobile banking options gives you the ability to manage your money on-the-go with the same features and security as your regular Five Star online banking.

For users other than Android, iPhone or Blackberry apps, please click here to set up your mobile banking access. You can also use this WAP (not APP) if your Blackberry will not accept the APP download. The screen layout on the WAP is more basic than the APP, but all basic functions work.
Safe and Secure Text Message Banking is also available from any cell phone that texts. Get your balances or check your recent transactions anytime simply by texting simple commands. To set up your personal FSCU mobile banking text alerts please click here.
Mobile Bill Pay for Smartphones is also available but must be set up on a non-mobile version of BillPay (i.e. your desktop, laptop or tablet PC).
Mobile (Remote) Deposits for Smartphones (take a picture of your check) is also available. If you have an older version of our Mobile banking simply update the app in your usual manner. Our mobile banking app downloads include the remote deposit feature for most members. Some members may not be eligible or may lose eligibility from time to time based on the nature of their accounts with us.
If you download or upgrade the app and are eligible you will see a "remote deposit" bar on the homepage of mobile banking. Click it and you will see a place to enter the amount of the check and a choice of which account to deposit it to. The app will then walk you thru taking a picture of the front and back of your check (be sure to sign the back).
The app does a good job of instructing you on how to take a picture and what went wrong if an error occurred. Here are some guideline that might help ensure your check image goes thru correctly:
• Lay the check on a dark surface
• Make sure there is plenty of lighting
• Make sure all 4 corners of the check are visible inside the frame you can see in the app
If a you cannot see Mobile Deposit:
Verify you have the app updated, if you are on a version below the ones listed below, then you should update your app:
a. iOS devices must be on 3.9.83
b. Android devices must be on 3.8.45
c. You may not qualify for mobile deposit based on the status or nature of your account with FSCU.

Text commands (to 86020) include:
B = Balances
H = recent History of all your accounts (loans, checking, savings, etc)
H (acct) = recent history for a specific one of your accounts (for examples: H S0000 for savings, H S0009 for checking, H L0001 for your first loan, etc) (Hint: text a B for Balances and see individual account #s and place the one you want after the H and space when you only want to see that account info)
HELP = Fetches the list of available commands and a phone # to call if needed.
STOP = To deactivate SMS mobile banking
NOTE: Five Star Credit Union Mobile Banking and Text Banking are free services. However, because they use your phone’s data transfer service, there may be a charge from your cell phone provider. Consult your cell phone service plan for details.
Mobile Banking Disclosure
In order to use the full mobile banking service you must have an internet browser enabled on your smart phone. To use the text banking service you need a cell phone capable of sending and receiving texts. Although these services are free from FSCU you would be responsible for any data charges your cell phone provider may require in your agreement with them.

You are responsible for the security and settings of your cellular device. While FSCU maintains a high level of security on our members’ data we are not responsible for viruses or similar problems sometimes encountered on the internet that are beyond our control.
