At Five Star Credit Union, your financial security is our priority. That’s why we offer Five Star Fraud Alerts—a free, real-time fraud detection service designed to keep your debit and credit card safe from unauthorized transactions.
We are in the process of updating our debit/credit card fraud system. As we upgrade the system you could receive a message from both the old code 23618 and our new code 47334, if you have a suspected fraudulent transaction on your debit or credit card.

How It Works:
When our fraud detection system flags suspicious activity on your debit or credit card, you’ll receive an immediate text message asking you to verify the transaction:
Example:
Five Star Credit Union Fraud Center: Did you attempt a $250 charge at ABC Retail?
Reply YES or NO.

Reply NO – Your card will be blocked immediately to prevent further fraud.

Reply YES – The transaction will proceed and your card remains active.

No response? We’ll follow up with a phone call or email to ensure your account is secure.
