Digital Banking FAQs

We’re always looking for ways to improve your experience. Our new digital banking platform offers enhanced features, improved security, and a more user-friendly design to help you manage your finances more easily.
Our new system requires usernames to be at least 8 characters long. If your previous username was shorter, you’ll be prompted to update it when you log in.
You’ll need your username and member number. You may also be asked to enter your username manually when logging in.

Double-check that you’re entering the correct username and password. If the issue continues, try resetting your password or contact Member Care for assistance.

Each account holder will need their own unique username. Shared usernames are no longer supported.

You’ll automatically see all accounts where you are listed as an owner or joint owner.

Most recurring transfers will carry over. We recommend reviewing them after your first login to confirm everything is set up correctly.

Yes. External accounts will need to be reconnected. Some institutions may require verification using small test deposits.
Secure access codes are sent to your contact information on file. Make sure your phone number and email are up to date.

Five Star Credit Union Mobile App Account Deletion

Five Star Credit Union provides digital banking services through our mobile app. If you would like to request deletion of your digital banking access, please follow the steps below.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your digital banking account:

1. Contact Five Star Credit Union Member Care:

 

2. Provide the following information:

  • Your name
  • Member number
  • Username

3. Request that your digital banking access be deleted

Once your request is received, a Five Star representative will verify your identity and process your request.

What Happens When You Request Deletion

When your digital banking access is deleted:

  • Your online and mobile banking access will be removed
  • You will no longer be able to log in to digital banking
  • Any saved preferences within digital banking will be deleted

 

Data Retention and Account Information

Please note:

  • Deleting your digital banking access does not close your Five Star Credit Union accounts
  • Five Star will retain account records as required by law and regulatory requirements
  • Certain information may be retained for:
    • Security purposes
    • Fraud prevention
    • Legal and compliance obligations

If you wish to close your accounts entirely, please contact Member Care or visit a Five Star center.
