Official Rules

This promotion is sponsored by Five Star Credit Union.

Promotion Period

The promotion begins February 4 and ends February 28, 2026

Eligibility

The promotion is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older, eligible for membership with Five Star Credit Union, and who complete a qualifying promotional action associated with the Blakely branch during the Promotion Period. Membership eligibility and approval are required. Employees of Five Star Credit Union and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

How to Enter

Eligible participants may earn one (1) entry per qualifying action during the Promotion Period by completing any of the following:

  • Opening a new Five Star Credit Union checking account at a Blakely branch
  • Opening a new Five Star Credit Union money market account at a Blakely branch
  • Enrolling in eStatements in connection with a Blakely branch
  • Referring a friend who becomes a new Five Star Credit Union member and opens a qualifying account at the Blakely branch during the Promotion Period, subject to the Growing Blakely Together – Refer-A-Friend Checking Account Offer terms and conditions

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Entry Limits

Limit one (1) entry per qualifying action per member during the Promotion Period. Multiple qualifying actions may result in multiple entries.

Prize

One or more winners will receive an $85 account credit. Prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted. No cash alternative is available outside of the stated account credit.

Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Winners will be notified by phone, email, or mail within a reasonable time following the drawing.

Odds

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Taxes

Winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with receipt of the prize.

General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time without notice. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final. Referral entries are governed by the separate Growing Blakely Together – Refer-A-Friend Checking Account Offer terms and conditions.

Privacy

Information collected in connection with this promotion will be used in accordance with Five Star Credit Union’s privacy policy.

 

.85% Rate Bump

0.85% bonus dividend applies to a 6-month Certificate of Deposit funded with new money not currently on deposit at Five Star Credit Union when requesting the “Blakely Bump.” Available to all members. Offer subject to change or termination without notice. A penalty may be imposed for early withdrawal. Membership eligibility required.

Growing Blakely Together - Refer-A-Friend Checking Account Offer:  

The person making the referral (Referrer) will earn a $85 reward bonus for each individual referred (Referred Person) to  Five Star Credit Union who registers for the offer, opens a new Five Star Credit Union personal checking account, and completes  the offer requirements within the time specified in the offer. To make a referral, the Referrer must register for the program and  share the offer with their friends, family, or coworkers. A Referrer may receive up to ten (6) reward bonuses ($510 value) within the month of February, but only one Referrer may receive a reward bonus for each Referred Person who fulfills the requirements.  

To earn a $85 reward bonus, the Referred Person must register by following the link provided in the referral email or on social media, open a new Five Star Credit Union personal checking account, and meet the following requirements within 60 days of account opening: 

• Complete ten (10) or more debit card transactions (excluding ATM transactions), AND  

• Complete one direct deposit, AND  

• Enroll in eStatements   

The Referrer authorizes the sending of communications to each Referred Person. The email may not be recovered if the person has “opted out” of marketing material from Five Star Credit Union or ReferLive. Each person who registers at ReferLive  authorizes future communications including emails regarding the program unless they “opt out” by making an election at  ReferLive or within such email. The Referred Person acknowledges that a reward bonus will be issued to the Referrer after all conditions have been met in the time frames provided.  

Five Star Credit Union employees are ineligible to participate in this offer. This offer can be changed at any time without notice.  

Please allow 30 days for delivery of your reward bonus after completing all offer requirements.  

Rewards bonuses may be reported as income to the IRS.
