Welcome to Five Star Credit Union! We are excited to share many of the great features and benefits of being a Five Star Member. Below you will find helpful information about your accounts, loans, debit card, online and mobile banking and so much more. All OneSouth Bank customer accounts will transition to Five Star on Oct. 1. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

On Monday, Sept. 30, All OneSouth offices will close at 12PM/NOON EST as we complete the conversion to Five Star Credit Union.
ATMs are still available.

Online Banking and the App will be unavailable Sept. 30th at 2PM EST. On October 1, you will be able to login to online banking at www.fivestarcu.com and use the Five Star App

All offices will reopen at 11AM EST on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

 For all Bill Pay users, your payees in Bill Pay will transfer to the Five Star bill pay solution in online banking and the app. We encourage you to review for accuracy. 
 
As a reminder, when signing in to online banking for the first time, use the new six digit member number that will be sent to OneSouth members in a letter in September. The member number begins with a 2.  Do not attempt to login until October 1. For more on how to log in for the first time please visit this helpful video.

Personal Checking:

We are pleased to offer several accounts to meet your banking needs. With Your Free Checking, Your Fabulous 50 Checking, and Your Five Star Checking, at Five Star we have an account for everyone. Five Star also offers Money Markets, Share Certificates (CDs), and Five Star Visa Credit Cards to our members. As a member of the COOP ATM network conveniently located in places like Publix grocery stores, you can access 30,000 surcharge-free locations nationwide including the Presto Network.

All of your current checks will be honored. When you re-order checks in the future you will receive your new Five Star logo.

You were automatically enrolled in Free Checking or the Fabulous 50 account depending on your age. Contact your local financial center if you would like to change your account type.

Debit Cards
Your new Five Star debit card will be sent in a separate mailing this month.  Your old OneSouth debit card will no longer work after September 30.  You will need to update any automated debit card payments or charges to your new debit card number.  You can conveniently add card controls and limits within the mobile banking app.  Check out the helpful video below to learn more about card controls.
 
Personal Loans:

All your loans will transfer seamlessly to Five Star. All terms and conditions of the loans will be honored for the life of the loan. You should not see any changes. After Oct. 1, 2024, if you notice any problems or changes please contact us immediately. Five Star offers all types of loan products for your needs including auto, credit card, mortgage, manufactured home, HELOC, member business, RV, watercraft, and unsecured personal loans. We have the loan to meet your needs!

Business Checking:

Five Star offers three business checking accounts designed to increase efficiency so your attention stays focused on the most important matters.

Statements:
After Oct. 1, 2024, you will begin receiving your account statements from Five Star. All of your old statements from OneSouth will be available to you at the Financial Centers, please stop in and ask for a print out free of charge. 

Improved Technology:
We have invested in modern technology to streamline processes, enhance digital banking capabilities, and improve overall member experience. At Five Star, Online and Mobile Banking is Free! Online and in the mobile app you can get up-to-date balances, transfer funds between accounts, deposit checks, pay your bills and make loan payments, review transaction history, receive alerts that notify you of important account information, link your debit card to your phone for one-tap payments and so much more. 
 
To log in the first time with online or mobile banking follow the instructions listed below. We have some helpful videos to walk you through those steps and a virtual tour of the online and mobile banking platform. 

Online Banking, Mobile and Phone Banking App:  
  • On October 1 - Download the Five Star Mobile App or visit www.fivestarcu.com and click on Login. The login will work for the mobile app and online banking.
  • Choose Enroll Now and complete the requested information to access your account. Be sure to enter your new 6-digit Member Number located on the letter mailed earlier in July in the account number space during enrollment. 
  • To enroll in 24/7 automated phone banking contact Member Care at 888-619-1711 option 7 or your local financial center.
